Workshop

Supplies

Workshops are, together with Residences, crucial buildings of your city. They produce primary resources:

• Supplies.

Supplies are one of the basic resources of Elvenar. Your Builders will need Supplies to construct and upgrade a vast number of buildings. Unlocking technologies, Goods production, upgrading buildings and Units training also require Supplies.

You can choose among 6 options to start a Supply production which differ in production time and production output.

You can set all "idle" Workshops to production by checking the Tick Box at the middle top. This makes it quick and simple to start multiple Workshop productions of the same duration.

Once you’ve started a production, hover over the Workshop to show a tooltip with a progress bar.

If, for any reason, you want to cancel your production, you should click on the Workshop and choose "Cancel production" in the "Produce" tab. Just remember: you will have to order them to produce again if you want to keep your Supplies coming in.

Supplies can be collected once the production has finished. Note the amount of supplies here is boosted by your Culture Bonus.

Hint: Culture and Enchantments have an impact on Supplies production. The more free Culture you have in your city the more Bonus is given. And by applying Enchantments you can boost your Supplies production for a certain amount of time.

Prosperity

From Chapter XXI - The Vallorian Legend onwards, Workshops will provide another special requirement:

• Prosperity.

Prosperity is needed to build some Chapter special buildings, if you wish to know more about this special requirement please visit the page dedicated to the subject.

Canned Goods

From Chapter XXII - Harbours of the Deep onwards, Canned Goods can be produced in the Workshops upgraded to the Chapter.

The 24h production option "Toolbox" will be replaced by the production of Canned Goods. Its production requires Supplies and Community Work and has a duration of 9 hours.

Like Coins, Supplies and Community Work the production of Canned Goods can be boosted with Culture.

Please note: Like some other special resources, Canned Goods is also subject to 10% decay during the night.

Please note: Although Canned Goods has been introduced in the Chapter XXII - Harbours of the Deep, it is not exclusive to it, so it will be a constant resource in the game from this Chapter on.

Requirements

You can build the Workshop via the Buildings menu. It needs a street connection to the Main Hall. It can be moved, sold, rebuilt and upgraded.

Upgrade

Upgrading a Workshop to the next level will increase:

1. The amount of produced Supplies per time. So the production will be more efficient!
2. The amount of Prosperity provided by the building (only from Chapter XXI onwards).
3. The amount of Ranking Points you get from the building.
