The Buried City
Several years in the past a group of Amuni have traveled to Elvenar after being expelled from the Unur continent. After the time spent in this new land, the survivors have been building their small settlement trying to survive however they can and keep their way of living. Without the presence of their god queen, they face their attention towards their own kin to take the best from their new life. With time, the memories of the old goddess are forgotten and the small settlement only presents details that resemble their lost ancient culture.
During this event, the instability in the continent underground buries the small village, and only a young scout is capable of leaving the settlement. He wanders through the lands towards the closest city, looking for help to save his brothers and sisters.
Coming to the city tired and battered, he asks for an audience with the lord of that land. If you help him, you will uncover areas, and find smaller structures and old paintings in the walls that show the existence of a powerful feline queen and how she ruled for several years in a drying land.
Barchanni is a young half-amuni that serves currently as a scout in the outpost of the underground city. Long years of military training made Barchanni a proficient fighter. He made use of his survival training by joining exploration and rescue parties. He cares about his people above anything else and he is always ready to willingly give his life for the safety and prosperity of his brotherhood. Now that the city is buried, he will do anything in his power to help his brethren. In search of help, he finds your city and hopes to get the help he needs to dig up his hometown.
Quests & Quest Milestones
The questline consists of a story section and additional episodic quests, which start as soon as the story is completed. This means that you will be able to finish the first series of quests right away, while later quests have new additions released on a daily basis, allowing you to continue to play one additional event quest on each new event day.
Solving event quests also comes with additional benefits, as each completed quest brings you closer to reaching one of the Milestones which give you additional rewards simply for reaching them.
Each completed quest will give you Provisions as a reward. They are automatically added to the Event Menu. With these Provisions, you can purchase Digging Tools, in the Amuni Shop, with which you can dig further and further into the Buried City! With these Digging Tools, you can dig up and unearth wonderful rewards and precious Amuni Knowledge . With this Amuni Knowledge, you can unlock amazing Grand Prizes including the Echoes of the Forgotten Artifacts.

You start The Buried City event with 50 Provisions and each Event Quest will give you more as a reward for completing the given tasks. Additionally, you will receive 35 Provisions if you visit your city each day and collect the Daily Event Reward!
Also, from time to time, you will find more Provisions around your city outskirts for you to collect.
You can then use the Provisions to buy more Digging Tools. Additional Provisions are unlocked upon reaching the first Quest Milestone.
Remember that The Buried City event only lasts for a few weeks, and after that you will no longer be able to use your Provisions to buy Digging Tools and earn awesome rewards, so don't waste time!
The buried city is, well, buried, but fear not, you will have the help of Barchanni and the Digging Tools to unearth the most hidden rewards!
Your goal is to explore the buried city in search of Amuni Knowledge and Buried Treasures. To do so, you advance from left to right and clear the dirt from the tiles that conceal precious treasures. Whenever at least one dirt tile is cleared by a Digging Tool in the rightmost column, a new row of dirt tiles is unlocked next to it, moving you further to the right. Use the Digging Tools strategically to clear out as many tiles as possible and collect all rewards you can find.
There are three types of Digging Tools that will help you clear the dirt in The Buried City:
- Shovel is used to clear one dirt tile and it can only be used on tiles that are still covered by dirt.
- Bottled Wind clears a single column of dirt tiles from top to bottom unless its power is interrupted by an obstacle. It needs to be placed on a tile that was previously uncovered.
- Vacuum Vial removes the dirt on all tiles directly adjacent to where it was placed. It also needs to be placed on a tile that was previously uncovered.
Additional Digging Tools can be obtained in the Amuni Shop that is opened from the event menu. Shovel, Bottled Wind and Vacuum Vial can be obtained separately or in bulk, with various different options.
While using Digging Tools and making your way through the Buried City, you will uncover additional Digging Tools, Buried Treasures containing various rewards (including Daily Exclusives), and Amuni Knowledge that help you unlock the Grand Prizes of the event.
Sometimes you will unearth Amuni Knowledge from the dirt tiles. Find and collect 20 pieces of this precious Knowledge and you will unlock the next Grand Prize.
