Summer Solstice is upon us!

Melissa and Tandriel have joined their magical forces to celebrate this amazing event! Through several episodic quests these sorceresses will reveal some secret quotes of the holy books, that will show you a bit more of Elvenar and its previous inhabitants. But nothing comes without a price and they will need you to complete the quests in order to move on and get all the rewards before the Solstice is gone!
The sun rises, and it's the longest day of the year. Humans and Elves are coming from near and far and unite to celebrate the peace and glory brought by Mother Sun. People from all over Unur gather around the mystical stone formations of Stonehenge to be blessed by the sun. Everyone's hoping for a good harvest and ongoing peace. It sure is looking good!


The Tome of Secrets, Chorus of the Citadel, Letters of Enar, Handbook of Craftsmanship and many other secret and magical books will show you and the sorceresses the path to receive all glory of the Moon and strength of the holy Sun.
But the Summer Solstice is not only reason to celebrate! Magic artifacts are said to unleash their powers on this very special day. So, sorceresses from all over the lands gather for a sacred meeting, hoping to witness the magic stemming from ancient artifacts themselves.  


Moon Splinters will fall from the sky, Sun Flares will grow to glow and the stars will tell you what to do!
Will you join Melissa and Tandriel to see Golems come to life, an event that only a few chosen ones will ever get to experience?

During the Summer Solstice event you will get two new and exclusive quest lines. But take note they will only be available for a short time!


The first quest line is the daily Summer Solstice quest which will give you random tasks to complete. The second quest line is the episodic Event quest which will give you a specific task, according to the invoked secret book. Each quest line will give you Moon Splinters as a reward, that are added to the Summer Solstice's menu.
Throughout the Summer Solstice you will have two Quest Lines to complete.


The first Quest Line is the Sequential Quest "Summer Solstice" which will give you many tasks to complete during the Event. The second Quest Line is the Daily Episodic Quest "Greetings to the Rising Sun" which will give you a specific task each day. Each quest will give you Sun Flares [[File:2019SunFlares.png|30px]] as a reward. They are added to your Event menu. With Sun Flares you can open different Chests to win unique and precious Event Buildings! The Chests also contain Flowers [[File:2019_Summer_event_payback.png|30px]] to unlock mighty Grand Prizes!

====Moon Splinters====

You start the Summer Solstice Event with 50 Moon Splinters [[File:MoonSplinter.png|20px]] and each event quest will give you more Moon Splinters as a reward from completing the given tasks.
You can then use the Moon Splinters to open the valuable Treasure Chests which, depending on your luck, can also give you more Moon Splinters to spend.
Remember that Solstice only lasts for a few weeks, and then you will no longer be able to use your Moon Splinters to get awesome treasures, so don't waste your time!

The Treasure Chests hold valuable rewards! You can win Knowledge Points, Rune Shards, Spells, Moon Splinters and even the unique and precious Daily Exclusive Reward. It all depends on how lucky you are!
By opening the Treasure Chests you will also get Sun Flares, but remember: The better the Chest, the more Sun Flares you get.
You can choose between the Bronze Chest, the Silver Chest or the Gold Chest, each containing similar rewards, but with different winning odds. Some advice: the Golden Chests [[File:GoldenChest&Button.png]]are the most efficient ones!

When you open a Treasure Chest, you will win Sun Flares [[File:SunFlare.png|20px]]. Each chest will immediately give you a specific amount of Sun Flares, however the better the chest, the more Sun Flares you will get.
 
Sun Flares will allow you to unlock the Grand Prizes! You have three grand prizes available, each requiring a certain amount of Sun Flares. To unlock the next Grand Prize, you will first need to collect the previous one.

Each day you will have a unique and precious event building as the daily exclusive. It can only be obtained by opening the Treasure Chests and it is only available for a limited time. Once it's gone, it's gone forever!
There are 3 Chests to choose from! Each one gives you a chance to win the Daily Exclusive reward. Other rewards can be various Instants, Rune Shards and even more Sun Flares. It all depends on how lucky you are!
By opening the Chests you will also get Flowers. Remember: each Chest will offer a different number of Flowers for your Sun Flares. So choose carefully.


Be sure to complete the event quests as much as possible so that you can have a chance to win all daily exclusives and make your city a real tribute to the Summer Solstice!
Once you have chosen a Chest, they will rotate and present you with a new set of Chests.

Summer Solstice

The sun rises, and it's the longest day of the year. Humans and Elves are coming from near and far and unite to celebrate the peace and glory brought by Mother Sun. People from all over Unur gather around the mystical stone formations of Stonehenge to be blessed by the sun. Everyone's hoping for a good harvest and ongoing peace. It sure is looking good!

But the Summer Solstice is not only reason to celebrate! Magic artifacts are said to unleash their powers on this very special day. So, sorceresses from all over the lands gather for a sacred meeting, hoping to witness the magic stemming from ancient artifacts themselves.

Will you join Melissa and Tandriel to see Golems come to life, an event that only a few chosen ones will ever get to experience?

Event Menu

Throughout the Summer Solstice you will have two Quest Lines to complete.

The first Quest Line is the Sequential Quest "Summer Solstice" which will give you many tasks to complete during the Event. The second Quest Line is the Daily Episodic Quest "Greetings to the Rising Sun" which will give you a specific task each day. Each quest will give you Sun Flares 2019SunFlares.png as a reward. They are added to your Event menu. With Sun Flares you can open different Chests to win unique and precious Event Buildings! The Chests also contain Flowers 2019 Summer event payback.png to unlock mighty Grand Prizes!

By clicking the Event Menu icon you will access the Event Window which will give you plenty of information and allow you to put the Sun Flares you gathered to use:

1 - Shows you the amount of Sun Flares 2019SunFlares.png you have collected and not yet spent.

2 - Allows you to buy Sun Flares with Diamonds.

3 - Chests where you can spend your Sun Flares to win a reward and obtain Flowers 2019 Summer event payback.png. Shows how much Sun Flares is needed and how many Flowers you receive with each Chest.

4 - Here you can see how many Flowers you have collected and your progress to unlock the Grand Prizes.

5 - Shows you the Daily Exclusive reward you can get from opening the Chests and for how long it will be available before it is gone.

6 - Grand Prizes to be won by collecting 20-30 Flowers for each.

7 - Golem: As you collect Flowers, the golem begins to walk across the scene following the Flowers above to the Grand Prize.

8 - Indicates the remaining time for the Event.

Sun Flares

You start the Summer Solstice Event with 50 Sun Flares 2019SunFlares.png and each Event Quest will give you more as a reward for completing the given tasks. Also, from time to time, you will find more Sun Flares around your city for you to collect.

You can then use the Sun Flares to open one of the Chests, which depending on your luck, may also give you more Sun Flares.

Remember that the Summer Solstice Event only lasts for a few weeks, and after that you will no longer be able to use your Sun Flares to get awesome rewards, so don't waste time!

There are 3 Chests to choose from! Each one gives you a chance to win the Daily Exclusive reward. Other rewards can be various Instants, Rune Shards and even more Sun Flares. It all depends on how lucky you are! By opening the Chests you will also get Flowers. Remember: each Chest will offer a different number of Flowers for your Sun Flares. So choose carefully.

Once you have chosen a Chest, they will rotate and present you with a new set of Chests.

Opening Chests

When you open a Chest, you will win a number of Flowers 2019 Summer event payback.png. Each Chest will immediately give you a specific amount indicated on the top left of the box.

Collecting the Flowers allows you to unlock the Grand Prizes! Each Grand Prize requires 20-30 Flowers to unlock it. Once you have collected your Grand Prize, you can begin to collect Flowers for the next one.

After collecting the Grand Prizes, you will find them in your InventoryInventory icon normal.png.

Please note: All building values and effects depend on the chapter you are in at the time you add the buildings to your Inventory.

When you open a Chest and add Flowers to the bunting, the golem will begin to move towards your goal of the Grand Prize. This gives you a good indication how many flowers are still needed until you get the next Grand Prize.

Stonehenge

In the Summer Solstice, you can win a new Evolving Building : Stonehenge. Just like the other Evolving buildings, this one can be evolved through 10 stages to increase its power.

Stonehenge provides Population, Culture and Supplies for your city. As it evolves, it will also produce additional resources depending on your Research chapter.

Grand Prizes & Expiring Buildings

Each day you will have a chance to win a Daily Exclusive prize but the main aim is to win the fantastic Grand Prizes.

There are more awesome Prizes to be won! You are probably already familiar with Expiring Buildings that give you special rewards.

Wishing Well

Once again the Event brings us some of our favorite Expiring Buildings. The Monument of Ancient Knowledge, for instance, gives an Ancient Knowledge 3 Instant every 48 hours and the Ferris Wheel Galore, which lets you produce Boosters, Knowledge Points or Broken Shards as you wish. There is also the Wishing Well, that gives you a random reward every 12 hours.
